Technical Support - Gauteng South Africa - July 2024

We have an opportunity for a self-motivated, client centered, Technical Support to join our exciting, dynamic company at a time of huge potential and growth! This is a full-time position based in Gauteng.

About DeepAlert:

DeepAlert is an established brand providing AI video analytic solutions to the surveillance industry. Due to significant demand for our product, we need to expand our Technical Support team. Our proprietary technology is based on cutting-edge technology of deep learning neural networks and provides a very effective false alarm filtering service to monitoring companies. Our software is system-agnostic and integrates with many of the leading brands of surveillance systems. The company services off-site monitoring companies, system integrators, and installers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing the Technical support Team
Develop and document new processes and procedures
Attending to support tickets on the DeepAlert ticketing system
Attending to inquiries on the DeepAlert Technical Support Whatsapp channel
Assisting with Pre-sales support including setting up and monitoring Proof of Concepts
Assisting clients with onboarding processes
Assisting with “Back-end” system maintenance
Rotational after-hours standby duties
Reporting as per company procedures

Experience & Skills:

Previous experience in the surveillance industry specifically the technical aspects of CCTV (NVR/Camera configurations), networking, and video management systems
Previous management experience in Control rooms
Experience in various surveillance platforms -e.g. Listener, Milestone
An analytical mind and problem solver
Self-motivated, results-oriented
Ability to work independently while still being an integral part of a small team
A willingness to travel within the Gauteng region
