According to Dr Horrell, customer acceptance of AI has grown significantly. Whereas DeepAlert previously managed risk through broad exclusion zones, the team has evolved toward alerting on specific zones of interest — a much more precise and operationally useful approach. Improved neural network architecture and larger training datasets have raised detection accuracy, while the integration of large language models (LLMs) is opening doors to far more sophisticated alert configurations.
Looking ahead, DeepAlert is actively developing automated virtual guard tours, bespoke alert logic, and detection models for fire, PPE compliance, loitering, and directional movement. The vision is a system that doesn’t just react — it anticipates.
